I personally don't use any of these password managers for various reasons

    1) NSA

    2) NSA

    3) My Brain needs to be used for a certain amount of time atleast.

    Let's get the debate going...

As I mentioned in another topic it is hardly possible to remember hundreds of passwords that consists of various random symbols. That is why I've been using 1Password for this and neither NSA nor any other spying agency can frighten me as the database is stored and encrypted on my HDD and it can't leak :p So... the conclusion is - 1Password rules ;)

Is the LastPass not good solution? Not safe enough?

Well its not about safety Toffe, its about being paranoid here. And like akira I use *le Brain security for storing passwords. I have a good memory so it works.

I store a backup copy of my password doubly encrypted using TPM and AES 256Bit and then RSA hashing. And its safely copied on my secure pendrive. And I hide it well in the house.

To me LastPass is a good solution until Lavabit history will happen again... So... No - thanks!

Hmm as a general conclusion EX Army guys use Lastpass. The Steve Gibson one was good Illumination.

For those who do not know Steve Gibson is the one who has made the GRC leaktesting utilities.

One way or another, let me put it as I see this - https://lastpass.com/aboutus_privacy.php the 3rd point says:

Which to me means - If we have to, we'll turn you over to NSA without remorse... so it isn't trustworthy at all :p

Illumination, I got your point - I might be too sensitive about my passwords. Anyway I hardly trust cloud services even if encryption is on my side and I reckon there is a safer way of storing ones posswords localy than somewhere in the Internet ;)

I use LastPass because it is simple to use and free, and I have confidence in this Sofu and yet let me down.

I use LastPass and I love it.. Passwords stored in LP servers are not accessible by even Lastpass employees, that's why they make it very clear to remember your master password or else write it down somewhere because they cannot recover your Lastpass account if you lose the master password.. All your passwords are encrypted and stored in the servers.. Decryption happens only in the local user machine, so there is little to worry about NSA.

I am able to remember and keep track of my passwords so its le brain for me. But my mom does use LastPass for certain needs and OFC i have memorized the last pass master key.
But sometimes it does feel scary to forget the master password.
