Micromax the Indian mobile giant has unveiled its first 4G device. It is the Canvas Knight 2 which has Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB RAM and 4G dual SIM support. The device seems to be too little too late. As usual it has Corning Gorilla glass 3 screen protection. Interestingly like the Yu devices it packs a Wolfson speakers for high definition Audio. On the Camera front, it has a 13MP back shooter with a Sony CMOS sensor and LAGRAN 5P lens. The front camera is 5MP and 4P lens. 4P is quite a good focal length. The phone has a dismal 2260mAh battery. It is not gonna have enough juice for long performance. The display is 5" HD AMOLED Screen. And just a 720p display at this price point. Seems Micromax is gonna be the next Samsung. Over priced and low quality devices. At least Samsung has a brand reputation behind it while Micromax just has whining users. Affordability is the key and MMX seems to miss it. The major issue with this device is its price point. The price point is 16,299Rs which is way to high for such subpar specifications. You can easily add 3K more and enjoy a one plus one, a top tier device. Even the YU Yureka would beat this phone hands down at a lower price point as well. Micromax also said that the Unite, and Nitro series models with 4G version will be released. Comment out your opinions guys.
